Gold Medal of Honor, Allied Artists Of America

I sculpt and paint the human form, capturing tenderness, strength, and time itself.
Each work is born from a different medium, bronze, stone, clay, paint, or ink—yet all are bound by the same pursuit: shaping human presence, emotion, and timeless beauty.
Timeless works in bronze, terracotta, and stone crafted to capture strength, elegance, and the essence of the human spirit.
From intimate likenesses to monumental forms, each commission is shaped with detail, emotion, and enduring presence.
Fluid brushstrokes in oil, watercolor, and ink exploring depth, movement, and the delicate harmony of light and form.
A lifelong study of the human figure, translated into vibrant tones and refined washes that reveal spirit and story.
Expressive studies in ink, charcoal, and wash raw yet graceful works that reveal presence, motion, and emotion in every stroke.
From swift sketches to refined studies, each line speaks of humanity, resilience, and timeless artistic truth.
Martha B. Gold is a sculptor and a painter with a wide range of artwork produced in a variety of materials from terracotta clay to bronze, stone carving, plaster for sculpture and oils, watercolors, and ink.
Fascinated by the human form, particularly the female forms, she has done work that shows existential humanness from young mothers holding their babies to old age.
Her gift for creating an exact likeness can be seen in her portrait of Albert Einstein and the majesty of her head called the prophet, and the elegance of her work comes through both in her reclining figure called ease and the Queen of the Night.
Martha Gold started her studies as a Pianist at the Eastman School of Music, after graduating from the prestigious Bronx Science High School. She quickly found her passion doing sculptor while a freshman at Eastman.
A graduate of Barnard College with a Master of Arts from Columbia University’s school o of Fine Art, Martha Gold’s expressive works are one of a kind.
A glimpse into how Martha’s sculptures and paintings continue to inspire audiences.
“Living with Martha’s bronze has been transformative. The piece feels alive, almost breathing, as though it carries a quiet spirit within. Its power shifts with the light, revealing new moods and subtleties each day. It is not simply an object in my home, but a presence that grounds and inspires me.”
“Martha’s work unites classical discipline with contemporary sensitivity. Her sculptures and paintings elevate the human form into something timeless, yet profoundly personal. Each figure becomes a vessel for memory, grace, and resilience, allowing viewers to recognize themselves within the art.”
